Sovereign Acres began as a Shetland pony stud in Queensland in 2002 with the acquisition of our first palomino stallion, Laurelwood Sovereign.

In 2005 we purchased our first large pony broodmare, Sovereign Miss to breed a Palomino foal and were blessed with the arrival of Sovereign Shakespeare.

Sovereign Acres relocated with Sovereign Shakespeare to Victoria in 2009.

2013 saw the arrival of three broodmares, selected specifically to compliment Shakespeare with his first foal expected in late 2014.

January 2015 we were blessed with the late arrival of Shakespeare's first daughter Sovereign Acres Social Occasion.
